A dedicated, resourceful education professional with proven ability to: create and oversee efficient administration practices that: promote excellent educational options, safe learning environments for special needs and at-risk students, and; a school atmosphere that encourages open communication with colleagues and the community
Mrs. Garfunkel started our special ed program and is an inclusion expert. She is also an adjunct professor at John Carroll University, Yavne Teacher’s College, Ashland University, Notre Dame University and Nova College. She is a frequent workshop presenter for parents, teachers and speech therapists on current educational topics.
